Hi guys, I recently got a new phone, and I need to connect it to my home wifi. Problem is that I don't have the wifi password, and nobody does. How do I connect to wifi and is there any other way I can connect to my router? Or how can I change the password / get the password? Thanks! P. S. I got a computer connected to it :3.

Without hard resetting the router, you're going to need to know the password to change it. If you do a hard reset, you need to know the default password.

1.on many routers the default key is written on the bottom, try that one.

2. try to accses it's setup using the PC and change the password

3.reset it ->1.

You can change your password by going to the website of your Internet service provider. Examples, Verizon, Comcast. You can change, or view the password once you log into your account and navigate through your settings.

Most standard home routers use the class C addressing scheme which is a 192.168.0.0 network or 192.168.1.0 For this reason chances are if you type 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 into a web browser of a computer connected to the WiFi you should be shown the Default Gateways WebUI. usually the default password is some combination of admin/pass or admin/admin or admin/password unless a family member changed it. From the WebUI you should be able to locate the password under the wireless settings. Alternatively you can reset the router by locating the reset button and pressing it for a few seconds then re-configuring the router. If the Class C addresses don't work you can type in ipconfig /all into a CMD session. This will tell you exactly what your Default Gateway is. If you're on Mac OS or Linux open Terminal and use command ifconfig

Look on the bottom if its an ISP supplied router. Some times they put the password their. If not the WiFI password, it might supply the password to access the firmware.
