Please recommend a best bang for the buck NVIDIA GPU please, and how is the GTX 1060

GTX 1060 is the newest and strongest budget card. If you can't afford it, look for cheaper GTX 970s or GTX 960s, but a GTX 1060 should be in your price range, and it performs the best of all the cards in your budget.

That's probably the best performance-per-dollar Nvidia card. Though I have no idea if you'll actually find one in stock anywhere near $250. On Newegg U.S., I see one in stock right now for $279.99 and then several at $329 and up.

 

If you need to go cheaper than the GTX 1060 and you don't want to consider AMD, you'll be buying a last-gen card.

Maybe some used GTX 970 if you really want nvidia, GTX 1060 in this price are nowhere to be found. Personally I would get some RX 470 or RX 480.

Noooooo why should he buy a 970 or even a 960........ Just cuz he prefers NVIDIA doesnt mean he should make stupid decisions. If you cant afford a 1060 buy a 480.
