great 1080p gaming experience

Squirt3l

Sub $2000 SGD build for games like DOOM, Witcher 3 and Overwatch at high to ultra settings.

http://pcpartpicker.com/guide/pPcCmG/1080p-gaming
I'll be overclocking both cpu and gpu. cpu until the temps are getting uncomfortably high.
If the community can suggest any other parts that will fit much better they are welcome to comment the alternative and reasoning.

singapore have rosewill cases meh? you get them from amazon? anyways, don't get the cx600m, its bad for a pc like this. also, the 6600k doesn't have a stock cooler, you'll need an aftermarket cooler. are you overclocking?

Well, CX-600 probably not best value for money.

GTX 1060, has no SLI slot which means only one graphics card in your entire build and no upgradeability.

16 GB of ram seems overkill as I have it only for video editing and CAD and those don't even use it up past 60%

As mentioned by the other contributors, 6600k has no stock cooler, maybe look into big air cooler territory for overclocking or (reluctantly) AIO liquid cooler territory. Single 120 or 140 radiators are worthless, look for 240 or 280 to get a bit of worth out of AIOs (don't make the same mistakes I made).

I suck a typing, preparw for typos.

Tempature is just a myth, cpu works better when metal parts starts melt off

The 6600K doesnt come with a stock cooler and even if it had one, you cant really overclock well with it. Just get a cheap decent aftermarket one like the Hyper 212. 600W is overkill for any single GPU setups and the Corsair CX ones aren't that great quality and dont last that long. Something like the EVGA 550W G2 would be much better and last a long time if you can afford.

Please quote our replys so we get a notification and can reply easily. Never cheap out on a PSU, or I will come to watch the fireworks.
