HTPC/NAS on the cheap

Hi guys!

I'm planning on building an HTPC/NAS build since I want to keep all of my media in one place, or in this case, in one pc.

I really have no experience building HTPC's or NAS's and I would like to ask for your opinions on my planned build.

Also, I'm trying to keep the price to a minimum. I have a 32" 1080p TV where I want to watch my movies.

Parts:

MOBO+CPU: ASRock Q1000B-ITX

PSU: Seasonic M12II Evo 620W

RAM: Corsair 8GB 1333 SO-DIMM

HDD: 2x WD Caviar Blue 1TB

Case: Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ITX

Thanks!

Laptop: HP Pavilion Power 15-cb002ne

CPU: Intel i7 7700HQ | GPU: NVidia GTX 1050 4GB | RAM: 12GB DDR4 | Storage: 128GB SSD (Boot) + 1TB HDD
