Budget - 1000$ is the maximum

Aim - Gaming computer and a bit of editing videos

Monitors - 2

Peripherals - No

Why i am upgrading - my PSU isn't working as well, my graphics card is GT 730 and i want better gaming performance.

What im sure i want in the computer:
EVGA GTX 950 SC+ ACX 2.0 2GB GDDR5
Intel Core i5-3450 3.10GHz - I already own this proccessor so i dont need to buy other one

So, basically what i need now is help about choosing the other parts:

Why would u go for Watercooling on a non K cpu?

1 grand budget for the listed components + the 950?

Budget Rig "Curable":     | FX 6300 @4.5Ghz | Asus R9 270x | Asus Crosshair IV Extreme | 16GB HyperX Beast | 120GB PNY SSD

Tablet "Buddy":                 Trekstor Wintron 10.1|

there are Intel cpus which have a "k" behind the name which means they're able to overclock. You wont need liquid cooling. The pumps are loud and they're overpriced.

Go with some good mid-end air cooler. Something like the 212 evo.

Mainboardwise just chose the one, which got all the connectors u want and matches the Sockel of ur CPU.

Ram: just get the cheapest one in the capacity you need. Ram speeds doesnt matter too much.

If you want a good PSU take a look at that thread:

Just as a reminder since that ranking isn't being updated anymore we made a new one. #shamelessplug

People who work in Adobe Premiere in this forum have stated 32GB is the minimum since performance tanks hard on 16GB. For someone who'll only do it ocassionally it makes sense to just forego the xeon and do an i5 6600K
