Have i been scammed

Ok so i found an ad on craiglist an iphone 5s £75 and thought is is a good deal realised he lives far away and he didnt have a paypal so i did bank transfer and she promised it would come next day delivery and after i done it she asked for more money for the next day delivery she sent it on thursday through royal mail (apparently) its tuesday and havnt recieved the item have i been scammed?

Yes last message was from him saying it was from royal mail but other than that wouldnt respond

Ask that scammer for tracking number.  All next day delivdries have that.  If the person refuses or will try to avoid giving u the nunber then u have been scammed.

Craigslist is kind of shady to begin with. I wouldn't doubt it. Does the item have a tracking number?

I'm pretty sure you got scammed. You really need to be careful on craigslist. I never use anything outside of cash for craigslist purchases.

What do i do now he stated she works for the police

First of all, it should have be done in person with Cash. Not only done in person, but in a public place or in front of a police department. Some departments around me have parking spots for Craig's list. If you have the persons name, maybe go to the police, with transcripts of your messages to her. Maybe they can do something, or call your bank and see if they can do something. But Id say you got scammed.
