BeQuiet sets exact release date for Silent Wings 3

First introduced in 2015 the highly anticipated Silent Wings 3 finally have a release date - Never (actually its August 16)

After pestering BeQuiet! and its employees for the past year or so I was able to obtain this information from their official Facebook account  via private message I received a reply telling me it will be in just over two weeks

What do we know about them may you ask?

It will have a new frame, a new 6 pole motor, a new IC for that motor and a new mounting system. It will also be at a premium as with their other fans.

OMG. Gimme Gimme Gimme!!!!! I absolutely love silent wings and need new fans for my case soooo :) I think i know my next fans!

I was really excited to get these when I was rebuilding my PC last year, then I found out these werent going to be released that year...so I settled for Venturi fans instead ha

Sweet, might replace my old non PWM silent wings fans.

 

Now if Noctua would get around to releasing that 200mm fan they've been showing off for the last 3 or 4 years...

I actually contacted their support a few weeks ago regarding this. They have no plans regarding 92mm SW3 currently; was hoping to get a 3-pin one for my NAS! Settled on a Noctua NF-A9 FLX instead, as decently priced 92mm Silent Wings 2 are hard to locate.

Darn.....I may still go for the SW2 since I need the Aesthetic for my build.

Finally. It was about time that they finally release the god damn thing.
