Gigabyte P35x V5 VS MSI GS60 Ghost Pro 4k-238

Looking for a new laptop for Work & Gaming, more towards the Slim side. Narrowed down to the MSI GS60 Ghost Pro 4k-238 ( matte Display) and the Gigabyte P35x V5.

What do you guys recommend, and why would you choose one over the other?

I would pick the MSI because the build quality is better.

I was thinking the same at first but then saw the P35x V5, for almost the same price, it has 980M and more Option for internal storage. So question is would you choose spec over build quality or do you think they are not that different?
Just wanted to add that I do keep my computers for a few years, My current laptop I bought end of 09, upgraded the ram and switched to a SSD about year and a half ago. So which ever one i get i'll prob keep for a few years.

Are you going to travel with this laptop a lot? And can you wait for the Pascal update?

They unveil it August 1st I believe. Which means at least two weeks until you can buy one, usually. If you travel a lot in the future you'll appreciate the durability. Have you looked how well each of them cool their hardware?

Yes. I agree with you on the durability part. Cooling wise they both seems like they are very similar, although I've read some where that the Gigabyte is a bit louder then the MSI.

I went with the GS60 because of the weight and the TB3 port, planning to get an eGPU soon.
