Monitor gets no signal

Hello, I just finished my first build, and now my Monitor isn't getting a signal from my PC.

I powered the PC, all the lighst turn on (GPU and Motherboard), I plugged my DVI cable into my GPU and my Monitor and I get the message "DVI No Signal". I tried restarting everything, didn't work and I tried reinstalling my RAM, also didn't help.

Specs:

Z170-K

I5-6600K

Gigabyte GTX 1070 G1

Crucial Sports 16GB RAM

Any help is really appreciated

Already did, I tried 2 monitors, one new one and one rather old, using DVI, DisplayPort and VGA. Nothing worked. I don't think it's the GPU, as removing it doesn't change anything. I also tried removing the RAM, or only using 1 stick, still didn't connect. It's the CPU or the MOB=, even though the MOBO's lights turn on

Before reading this thread I already had a basic idea of what could be the problem. Try using another cable. The cable can be dead. Try HDMI or display port to see if the hardware is functional.

Blue screens eh? Did you try setting it to Wumbo?

Tried that already, didn't help. I used DisplayPort and VGA, no change in the situation.

Do lights turn on from the pc when you power on? Sounds? Fans spin?

Lights turn on (MOBO, Power Button and GPU) and fans start spinning (CPU cooler, case fans and the ones on the MOBO)

Well unfortunately, you're going to have to clear cmos. Your pc showed the same symptoms I had when overclocking. This appears to be CPU or mobo related now.

That's what I guessed. The problem is, all the parts are new, I build it yesterday and it was my first build. Gonna see if clearing the CMOS helps, then I'm gonna try reintsallig the CPU. After that I guess I have to see a PC store. Thanks for the help
