How often do you lose or strip screws

Not that much, just be careful. Make sure you do it slowly and with adequate pressure, and you should be fine

I've done it once, now a board is stuck. Thankfully in a throwaway system.

The thumb screws for my side panel gets misplaced every single time i take off the side panel.

Losing screws is very easy to do, however I don't think that I've ever stripped a screw during a build. It would have to be pretty extremely tight and maybe using the wrong size bit for something like that to happen.

not often, and i just saw your profile location and honestly ive never heard anyone say "eastern jersey", i hear north jersey and south jersey often but i have never heard of this area known as east jersey even though i live very close to what that would be lol

I run a PC repair store. I probably screw/unscrew 30-80 screws a day. I strip about 1 every two or three months....

Laptops? Always.

Like 5% on a bad day? I work on 13+ computers a week sometimes. It adds up to a lot of screws lol.

I did until linus suggested the magnetic bowl. Love that thing.

After a few builds you tend to build up a large enough supply of screws that you never really care if any are missing until the next time you vacuum. As for stripping, I've always managed to notice a screw not turning soon enough to grab a larger screwdriver. At work, I have lost many a tiny laptop screw into the abyss of dark multi-color cross-patterned carpeting. Thankfully, there's always a pile of dead laptops lying around to scavenge spares from.

I come up with extra screws all the time- im not lazy when it comes to screwing motherboards or stuff in, I just usually end up with 1 or two extra screws. Nothing has ever fallen out or anything like that, just secured enough I dont notice.
