Title says it all. Does overclocking a cpu reduce the life span?

If done incorrectly and haphazardly, yes.

If done correctly, no. Your CPU will likely be outdated by the time it dies from an overclock.

If your really apply a lot of voltage yes, but in general as long as your not pushing it to extreme levels the degradation is marginal as the time it takes for that to occur will render the CPU obsolete.

So long as you don't bang your head on your keyboard and call it good, it will be too slow for you by the time it starts to kick the bucket.

Yes.

 

The more voltage you put through a CPU, the more heat it produces, and thus, the faster it does.

Yes but not to a noticeable degree, you'll replace it far before it dies.
