Does My Anti Static Strap Work?

ASAP_Gooby

Hey, can someone help me out with testing to see if my anti static strap works property?

I happen to have a Greenlee DM-20 Multimeter, here are the things I tried to do to test if the strap works:

Continuity:

When I put the barbs on each side of the strap, continuity doesn't change from 1 and doesn't make a tone.

Resistance at 2000k:

The number starts at 1000 then quickly goes down to 988 and stays there, anything below 2000k resistance shows a 1.

I still don't know if the strap works properly, does anyone have any suggestions/answers?
