Gaming Rig Help

Hey guys! I consider myself a pretty competitive gamer, and I need opinions on whether or not, the parts that are going to be in my pc are good for "gaming" I want to expect these games to run at more medium to high settings.  

 

(The games I play)

CS:GO

Minecraft
Overwatch

Battlefield 3,4

Call of Duty BO3, BO1, WaW

The Forest

H1Z1

DayZ 

Rocket League

LoL

 

(Computer Specs)

Windows 10 64 Bit

MSI 760G w/ AMD FX 8320 Processor 3.5 Ghz, can be oc'd to 4.0 Ghz

MSI GTX 1070 (8GB)

2TB Hard Drive

16GB DDR3 Ram

not too sure about your CPU(havent really followed anything AMD in years) but you will have absolutely no issue running most of those games maxed out on high with 60fps+ with that GTX 1070.

Don't get that CPU and motherboard. Get an i5 6500 and the cheapest motherboard with the features you want. (you will also require DDR4 RAM)

Get a SSD boot drive. If you haven't already, overclock your RAM until it calls you by a pet name.

a 960 would run most of those games fine 1080p 30-60fps depending on the game on high settings, but a 970 would suit you amazingly

because they aren't out yet, they're going to be overpriced and out of stock for at least a month after launch, let alone the custom versions. and even after that the MSRP won't actually reflect the advertised prices. based on the launches so far, that is

GPU: GTX 1060 or RX 480 will be perfect for you (no need to go with 1070).

 

CPU: i5 6500 + Skylake supported mobo (H110, H170, B150, Z170) - though I suggest going with the cheapest one with the features you need

 

RAM: Cheapest 8GB DDR4-2400

 

SSD: Any SSD is better than no SSD (definitely get an SSD)

The GPU is more than enough, i run all them games on max settings with my EVGA GTX 770 classified

 

But like everyone else has said i would go with one of the new skylake i5's

You could upgrade to the skylake i5 if you have the money but considering you also need a new mobo and ddr4 ram I think you are better off waiting a bit longer to see what amd does and maybe a price drop by the end of the year. An SSD is what you need now
