Gaming Laptop Consideration

I am planning on buying this laptop: http://www.dell.com/us/p/inspiron-15-7559-laptop/pd?oc=dncwpw5716h&model_id=inspiron-15-7559-laptop and wonder if anyone can give any links to better ones that can provide the same or better performance for less or the same. My budget is hovering around 700-800 USD preferably less. And I know that if i bought a desktop i could get more out of it but i need a laptop in this case. Also upgradability would be nice.

That is basically the most recommended budget gaming laptop right now. And budget's kind of a stretch of the word now and days for what you'd expect to be "budget".

Anyway there's a pretty comprehensive review of the laptop.

 

I own one and if you want my take on it, it runs most games I throw at it on medium at 1080p 30FPS or higher. You might have to tone the resolution down for something like GTAV, but that's about it. Though  one thing I did notice was one night I was able to do a dungeon run in FFXIV with it sitting on my lap comfortably and it was still getting 60FPS on the standard laptop preset.

Performance wise, that is literally the value king. If you want a better keyboard, screen, speakers, you can pony up another 100-200 dollars for a Y700.
