I hurt myself developing film

owie, :( so I was developing film using coffee and it didn't work and I got scared of the dark when I thought I saw a ghost. Its dark in that darkroom and so um I burned myself with chemicals and wasted money on film and cameras 

 

 

I used really strong coffee and baking soda eyeballed and mixed and stuff. Then I burned myself on the stove and dipped my hand into some chemicals. 

 

 

has anyone else done something similar?

Should've been more careful, man.

 

so i'm kinda done with film lol. It did teach me a valuable lesson and that lesson is that I should be very grateful for coming into photography in a time where you can just snap away and get it instantly. Its easier, I can appreciate those who came before me but I must say that I am done with old school film.

Have you ever tried developing using real film chemicals like xtol or d76? B&W film is pretty easy to develop.... I would recommend that over coffee...

I always stick my hands in the chemicals when I'm developing pictures.
Forgot to wash my hands once and went to eat a sandwich, it tasted horrible!  :P
