Help me create my dream ! give me a small loan of helpful advices !!!

Go to solution Solved by LordMastodon,

OK. Well, I can definitely recommend the NZXT Kraken x61 over the Corsair H115i. I've heard that the variable speed of the Kraken is actually a major bonus, because it means that you get better noise levels. I'd recommend that one.

I'd recommend you wait until the 1080 Ti comes out, because they are better performing cards, as long as you can stomach the wait and price.

As for the keyboard, I'm somewhat partial to the K95, and mouse, I might go with the Logitech, if only because of the 3 extra programmable buttons.

Apart from all that, this seems like a damn solid build, and I hope you enjoy.

Build:
Motherboard: Asus Maximus VIII Hero Alpha.
CPU: i7 6700K.
CPU Cooler: Corsair H115i or NZXT Kraken X61.
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Red LED 32GB (2 x 16GB) 3000 MHz or 3200 MHz.
GPU: 1080 or 1080TI, depends on the release date and performance of the TI against the non-TI. don't want to be one of those who wanted high-end and went 980 and then felt heartbroken when the 980TI came out.
PSU: Corsair AX1200i.
SSD: Samsung 850 Pro 512GB.
HHD: Western Digital Caviar Black 2TB.
Keyboard: Corsair Gaming K70 RGB Rapidfire or K95 RGB.
Mouse: Logitech G502 RGB or Corsair M65 RGB.
System: Windows 10 Pro 64 Bit.
Monitor: Acer Predator X34P G-Sync Ultra Wide (3440x1440@100hz)
Case: BeQuiet! Dark Base Pro 900 or Phanteks Evolv Tempered Glass Edition.

Basically I'm 20 years old and i never had a gaming pc in my whole life.
My PC is complete ****, if you go to my channel and see the latest video it took me 4-5 hours to render that ****.
Links for my video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pEKBa-c2Ykg

Links for what kind of video's i plan to render with new rig:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPZnDVnNZ6E
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8eZbbkIyLFU

I wanto to render those kinds of video's in a minutes and not hours frown.gif

So basically for over a year now i've been saving up and wanting to build my first system and let it be my high-end dream system gift of heavens pc.
I also plan to render my "music videos" on it and in the future render more complex stuff as my channel grows.

PS: i chose an AX1200i because i plan to SLI in the future (maybe 2 1080TI's).
plus it has red in it and i want a red/black or red/purple/black PC.

Even for SLI GTX 1080 Ti's, and 1200W PSU is complete overkill.

You can downsize a bit, and go for the AX 860i instead -- still red and black colour scheme.

You could easily do 3-way, or 4-way SLI with the AX 1200i.

As for your storage, is the Samsung 850 Pro the SATA III version, or M.2. variant?

Yeah i heard the Kraken beats the Corsair in every way, the corsair aesthetics might be or not be better but i guess if i put so much $ on this build i should at least choose better instead of lesser.

for the Keyboard i think the same, the only reason i put the K70 out there is because its newer and i heard the Speed Switches are faster and more enjoyable to type on.
But i always had my eyes on the K95 because of the macro keys that i could program for my daily use and for some MMO gaming. plus more colors ><
Mouse : Same , people say its nicer to hold, feels more premium and looks more premium, had my doubts cause of the logo on it, having a corsair keyboard and mouse combo would of looked better but again , aesthetics are not my main reason to spend so much money. i ain't no ***** !

Now all that's left is for me to decide if i can wait another 6 months or even more for the graphics card or buy a 1080 and then sell it in a year and buy the most stable and agreed on 1080TI Custom card....

I wouldn't even recommend buying a 1080 and Ebaying it. That card will not be worth what it is today whenever the 1080 Ti comes out. You will have lost money on the 1080, not to mention the fact that the Ti version will probably cost more than a 1080 anyways. If you genuinely can't wait, and having to spend an extra $100 to $200 on the Ti when it comes out is OK with you, then by all means. But if that isn't OK, then you might just have to wait.

Yeah i'm thinking of buying a 1070 now since i only have a 1080p screen and when i have enough money to buy an ultra wide 100hz 1440p screen (Predator x34 or x34P) and a 1080Ti card, i will sell the 1070 and buy the new card and monitor.
