Yep, VIA-SG3 unichrome (KM400) xP

The problem is that I've a SATA HDD attached via PCI card and I'm using Wi-FI (PCI too)

thats a shame.

I'll stop at 70 MHz AGP/35 MHz PCI (whichever is achieved faster)

PS: great... AIDA64 thinks I'm using a XP 2700+...

@harrynowl what about voltage (maybe voltmods :D?)?

Any jumpers on the board?

On mine AGP and FSB/HT Link are independent.

I've been away for a while and I was fully expecting someone to beat up on atleast one of my scores and that didn't happen. I hope it does happen so it gives me an excuse to break out the dry ice...

I guess I will wait until winter to hit and break out the dry ice. Once X99 and DDR4 matures some I will switch over and maybe put that under some DICE.

im still a firm believer intel chipsets dominated the 775 platform. never had any good oc luck with an nvidia chipset on 775.

I haven't been on here in a while, but shows how bad my Q6700 4GHz overclock was throttling when a Q9400 at 3.76Ghz matches it.

I don't think my Q6700 has anymore to give, not without maybe going up to 1.9V, possibly 2V, but I'm not ready to kill it yet.

Still, I like to think I retain the title of fastest 775 on LTT. That is, until whoever posted the Q9400 OC has the balls to go for 4 GHz :)

I have a load of 775 CPUs in for benching. I hope to get some SLACR ones :)

yeeah. system broke at 3.9ghz :P safetyshutdown of system.. if i would be able to go so high i would need watercooling...

Mate, what Volts were you running to get 3.76?

I had to go to 1.8V to get 4GHz stable the first time, then 1.84V the second time.

That many volts on air (I was only getting to a max of 75C, it was winter and I was using my Cryorig) kills it's stability pretty quickly.

I think your 3.9 will be faster than my 4, as my 4 was shoddy as all hell.

Good luck to you, I may need to buy a QX chip if you beat my score, can't let the fastest 775 title go that easily.

I've got an E6600, some Celeron (I think 440) and some manner of Pentium, as well as the good old Q6700

It's a shame I don't have the spare dosh to just buy loads of QX chips and bin them, it's what my board really deserves

Most QX chips use older revisions, 80% of the time a slacr 6600 beats it.

It's a good price but Also no sata... GPU is dual slot and I'm using 2xPCI cards (SATA (hence why the happiness of the other mb) and Wi-FI)

probably easier to just... get something modern :P
