Yeah because technically if you delid,your warranty is gone ;)

 

I really don't know how prokon returned his delidded cpu though...

stick the lid back on :P

i returned two. the second one had a scratch on the pcb that  i painted green with felt marker.

 

a small perimeter application of this stuff. put back in the socket and latch down. allow 24hr for it to cure...Voila

Why is the vcore at 1.615v?! That is insanely high.

Also,ARC says it's a 6 core/12 thread cpu but based on the score i tend to believe it's a 12 core.

 

PS: when you have a system like this,you should open the notepad with your name in the screenshot ;)

you can use the bclk to oc on the 2011 platform. give it a go and see if you can get it a bit faster.

ARC does indeed say that but @iCrazyNoob could have two of them. Hence why 12C/24T is detected in R15

Yes. At first i thought it was an ARC bug but after of researching it's a hexa core thus,he/she has twin xeons.And tri-fire. DAMN!

Got a new R15 score, managed to get 45 ring bus and 2000mhz stable on the RAM :)

that is a decent score.

haha I just built this rig :) its a dual xeon e5 so its 12 cores 24 threads.

I'll have a new FM2+ board and a 760k to throw voltage at when I get back though. I'll also put my 5GHz 5600K to the test.

 

 

Need a better cooler though. :(
