Check out the used market. That's about the only place you're going to find a monitor with any of those specs (save the 1080p) at that price.

Or, save up.

 

Also, check out the US and Reddit. You can just go down south of the border to pick up items that don't want to be shipped up here, and it'll save you tons of money even with the poor exchange rate.

I'm looking for a new monitor for my gaming rig preferably one that is 1080p or 4k graphics and one that has a refresh rate of 144hz. My budget is around 100-300 Canadian dollars, all help is appreciated!

The Asus ROG Swift PG279Q is a good mid-between 1080 and 4k. (1440p) :)
Also it has 165hz!! Not sure what it cost in Canada, but i guess it's really expensive!

those are frickin dangerous, and yes people often get killed by errant mooses, what happens is that a moose crosses the road by night and is almost invisible. The poor victim is in his car at about the speed limit when suddenly, BOOM. the car bumper break the animal's legs and its whole 600-800 KG body smashes right in the windshield where the person's head is at. so yeah, lots of deaths per years...

 

this leads our authorities to deploy huge fences all along the roads where the most accidents happens... so it's indeed very bad lol

Alright I guess I'll just keep an eye out on craigslist and kijiji, thanks for the advice
