Is getting RGB worth?

 

I was going to get Corsair Strafe keyboard

But then I saw Corsair Strafe RGB

So I was like

Holy shit gatta ged dem RGB

 

But than I saw price tag of $140

 

If I buy corsair strafe im done for the rest of the month

 

In other words imma be broke

 

So is it worth getting RGB for $40 extra and surviving on Ramen noodles for a few weeks?

There is no performance gain to getting an RGB keyboard. Its purely an aesthetic choice. If you think RGB is where its at, then get it. If you don't care for it, then dont. If you want it, but cant quite afford it yet, save a bit longer and then get it.

 

This is literally a decision we can't make for you. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" and all that jazz. There is no practical benefit to RGB. for someone like me, I've wasted 40 bucks on things I've used once. or given 40 bucks to a homeless guy because he was hungry. I'm not SUPER rich or anything, but 40 bucks isn't going to make me broke, so I would get RGB for 40 bucks. I have no idea what 40 bucks is worth to you though, so I can't say if its worth it for you.

With stuff like this it is all personal preference and how much money you have to blow.
