How to fix wifi dropping out

MrNicholas1029

I am fed up with the wifi signal dropping out on my laptop, especially when playing online games. Basically, every now and then, the signal drops to limited access, no internet. Sometimes it just disconnects completely, and the wifi adapter does not detect the network. The worst is that windows 10 gives up and disables wireless connectivity by saying "wifi not available", which is only solved by restarting. I have tried everything to help, including assigning static IP through DCHP, updating wireless drivers. I even got another usb 3.0 wifi adapter but it did not help. Signal strength is not weak by any means, it shows 3 out of 4 bars in the taskbar. Wifi analyzers show that my network has the strongest signal in its band, and there are only 1 or 2 networks that have a stronger signal but are in different bands. It is a pain and it takes a considerable time to reconnect and happens very often. Is there any way to fix this problem permanently without upgrading the router or using a wired connection?

Open network and sharing centre, what does it say under active networks?

When I was on 2.4GHz, it would drop from time to time, now I'm on 5GHz and it never drops, even if the signal is a little weaker.

Microwaves run at about 2.4GHz, and internet would cut out everytime and as long as it was on. 2.4 was also more crowded.
