Does this old as f* PC suppport a GPU with HDMI?

Hello,

 

I'm at a friends house and he has this computer i'm on. I wanna hook it up through HDMI to the tv so we can watch youtube etc without the horrible ipad air smart tv nonsense because that's horrible to go through. So I want to put a simple GPU in this computer if that's possible. I dont know much about hardware, it says its a dual core something in dxdiag. Here is a speccy screenshot.

 

So can I slam a cheap ass GPU into this thing? Maybe a GT210 1gb it's like 30 bucks so maybe worth it. Can I hook that one up to the tv but remain to have this basic monitor? So dual screens, 1 monitor through vga/dvi and one tv through hdmi?

I can't see the screenshot since I'm at work, but - you should be able to find some kind of PCI GPU for the system.

 

If you do, though, you'll have to use both inputs on the GPU. You can't mix and match the onboard graphics and a dedicated GPU, so I'd advise you to find a GPU with all the outputs you'd need.

yes I will need to hook up this monitor to the GPU too. But i'm wondering if it even supports it. Its honestly old as fuck, but it has win10 32bit and an SSD so its not thát old if it supports that so maybe we can have HDMI too?

Anyway, asuming it's not a prebuilt with missing slots then pick any PCI-e GPU that fits your needs

it does have some PCI slots I think from what I can see. Probably need to remove the panel. However it does appear to be thát old, since its even that weird ass old electronics brown color

edit: yes it has one single 16thingy PCI slot free I think

It can use any PCIe based GPU.

PCI =/= PCI-e but looking at google images this should be the MB:

It has one PCI-e slot so you're fine (the black one), It's easy to check anyway, remove the side panel :P

If you don't need GPU power then pick the cheapest GPU you can find with HDMI. Fastest GPU I'd put there is a 750 Ti, not because it doesn't support better GPUs but because the CPU would be a hell of a bottleneck (and maybe RAM too)

yes that appears to be the one. 750ti is way too much we just need to mirror screen on tv for youtube etc through hdmi

I recommend not getting a GPU like the GT 210 because it won't be noticeably better than any iGPU for gaming, as in it won't play most games at 720p. Instead, I recommend saving a bit more and getting a GT 730 64-bit (http://pcpartpicker.com/product/ZJ7CmG/msi-video-card-n730k1gd5lpoc)

I see. If I was you, I'd spend the $5 more on a GT 710. It will consume less power and performs better while video streaming (not that it's a heavy workload, but higher resolution / framerate video might be a problem on the 210).
