The Hyper 212 is an overpriced cooler. Would cool the given CPU perhaps, but for a few bucks more there are the Thermalright dual-tower coolers, like: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/hYxRsY/thermalright-peerless-assassin-120-se-6617-cfm-cpu-cooler-pa120-se-d3

something working isn't enough, for starters you can get 7800 XT just for 20$ more, if the price is correct

Oh I'm sorry this reply was late, I did not hear your quote over the sound of THE PRICE OF THE 7800 XT GOING UP TO $480. On these build planning threads so many people just keep changing so many things with the original build plans when it the original works just fine. Yes a lot need some fixing but a few will work just fine, just like the one that was here. Woopee doo, a next level up GPU for only 20 bucks more. How did I miss that? I did not see one at the time, so maybe I suck.

I always check how much more for the slightly faster GPU and saw that discounted gem
