I use an old toothbrush and makeup pads. It doesn't matter that much, ESD is a thing but it is unlikely to happen especially if you ground yourself regularly, .

I have always used a standard paintbrush and it hasn't damaged anything so idk. That product however just looks like a toothbrush.
