I will be watercooling my video cards.

As per the title, they are both R9 390s.

For waterblocks, EKWB's configurator lists 2 options for my particular part number: with the new inductors, and without.

There are a plethora of great pictures available for identifying which is which, but all of them have the stock cooler off in these pics.

Is there any way to identify them without removing the stock cooler, or am I SOL, and need to open them up?

I would rather not open them up, as I will be using them right up to the last moment before I swap over from air to liquid.

It doesn't take that long to remove a GPU cooler...

I don't want to crack them open until I switch from air to water.

Well you can get hardware number and send it to EKWB. They might be able to help you identify which water block you would need.

But best idea would be to remove stock cooler and check it yourself just to make sure :)
