Hello! ^^

Another build for a friend)

She isn't into gaming but it is time to get a new pc. (or not, depends on budget, cz it is not that necessary to build new pc right now)

It'll be half used, half new components, and ultra budget :D

PC is mostly for work with documents, web browsing and light gaming, like hearthstone, terraria, need for speed and so on.

The question is:

Which GPU to choose for gaming on 720p and run sth like NFS 2015 on ~ medium or medium-high settings with playable fps(35+)? Or Forza Horizon 3 on at least low? :D Sth like radeon 360/260x or 750ti? Or even weaker gpu?

You can suggest new gpu or old - anything, even sth like gtx 480, because I'll probably buy used one.

Soo, which card will perform well on 720p? any suggestions?) ^^

get a GTX 950, probably the best for what you want.

I don't know about the max budget for the GPU, but if you plan on getting used part, look for used 7950/7970. These cards can be found for 100-150$ and they are awesome value for the money, even now. Or eventually a GTX 660 Ti / 670 used if you find a great deal.

at 720p and if you dont care for all the eye candy, you can probably just use the IGPU. But a 750ti or 950 is also a good budget choice. you could likely find some used ones for dirt cheap floating around on various reseller sites. (like craigslist, kijiji, ebay, and the like)

You're welcome, glad I could help ;) These cards are still relevant these days for a budget build, and the 3Gb of VRAM at that price is pretty sweet !

dont know if you have a cpu yet, but cpu load doesnt seem to demanding so an apu could work for 720p. iirc it can run bf4 at medium settings ~30-40 fps

You don't need a GPU for this build.  Integrated graphics is plenty for light 720p gaming.  Consider an APU processor like the AMD A10-7870 or something along those lines.  Can probably tone it down from there actually, maybe an A6 or A8 series APU.

Mm, I'll chech that, it also could be an option, thanks! ^^

but you can get a cheap athlon x4 and used 7950 for more performance while costing a similar amount :P

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

Be careful with Athlon x4, they can be a severe bottleneck in games and other applications, really not ideal :P And they can get quite hot

For such tasks I think it'll be ok) Heat isn't a problem: several fans and sth better than piece of aluminium and it should be quite cool I think :D

Except people are telling him to get a A10 which runs hotter and consumes more power than the athlon x4 itself as the athlon is a A10 without the iGPU cores :P
