xD I did. Too many arguments at once.

You get my point though. You have a monster set up, I'd rock the hell out of it. But Pascal is has features that outweigh the fps lead a SLI config has on it.

The 1080 advantages :

-Beter upgrade path

-Newer Architecture

-Good power efficiency

-Better scaling with there new SLI Bridge

-Eyefinity

-No bottlenecks

-No stutters

Cons :

-Raw performance over 980 Ti's

The 980 Ti SLI Advantages :

-Raw performance

Cons : Everything the 1080 has in advantages expect in a minus

1.This is the only Asus 7990 there is...

2.That is a Matrix card but its not a 7990 its a 7970...

3.There are no custom pcb's on the 7990,6990,Titan Series except for the Titan X  http://www.gigabyte.rs/products/page/vga/gv-ntitanxxtreme-12gd-b/

No, I'm just responding to the part where you said there weren't any custom 7990. To which there technically is quite a few. The 6990 as well.

Not ideally, 980 TI SLI stomps it into the ground, even when SLI doesn't scale properly it'd still be faster lol.  Worst case scenario you find a game that doesn't support SLI (which most games that don't support it run PERFECTLY fine with a 980 TI)

That's why I'm considering a second GTX 970-the games that don't have SLI support don't need a second GTX 970 for 1440p 144Hz/4K 60fps

that thing is GameWorks exclusive and has to be implemented in game engine by developers just like Ansel, HairWorks and Batman-Cape-Works

the new Batman probably will....

I don't think it will be used much more widely than PhysX is... so... like 5 games in 10 years
