Ds lite everdrive equivlent

Preemptive apology: I apologize if this went in mobile gaming, the subtext said "phones, tablets, ect" and I didn't see any other handheld console posts so forgive me if i'm wrong.

 

On the the subject the title says it all I think. I just was given a Nintedo DS lite from my brother and wanted to know if there was a sort of, I think they're called flashcarts, that I could use with this. I know that they are out there I just am not sure which to pick. If you have any recommendations that would be great. My main concern is compatibility as I am completely unaware of the differences between the nds and ndsL and if the card(s) has/have weird ways of getting them to work I'm fine with that (need special writers or zipping and unzipping and what not) because I'm usually pretty savy with that stuff. What you are looking for is a flashkart/flashcart.

 

They usually have microsd slots in which you are supposed to copy your .nds games or homebrew (+ the flashkart firmware)

This was a simply rhetorical situation and I have no intent on doin anything illegal......just owning the cart to look pretty

No i didn't mean it that way. I just meant to say that flashkarts are illegal (so discussing it on a reputed forum like LTT's  might not adhere to the rules)

Flashcarts aren't illegal.  Just like guns aren't illegal (here).  It's what you do with your possessions that can be illegal.  DS flashcarts can do more than play pirated ROMs.

I disagree. I've been on the DS homebrew and hacking scene for almost 9 years now. Believe me, I know. Ever wonder why you can't see loads of R4s or Supercards on ebay? That's because Nintendo gets ebay to block those items legally.

Well, give ebay some time, they'll take it off.

But they might not, since the nds scene is basically dead.
