im playing at 1080p :P

My PC Specs: CPU: Core i5 4590 @ stock speeds, GPU: RX 480 8GB, RAM: 16GB DDR3 @1600mhz

I say wait for after market coolers and some better drivers. These are day one drivers on a new card. They are going to perform bad. But it is crazy to see how well it does at AMD optimized titles. We don't see those kinds of jumps with Nvidia cards

It's not going to be a massive upgrade, but a considerable one. If you sell your GTX 960 for a decent price and get one with an aftermarket cooler, it'll probably be a good option.

if you have to insist you think for yourself, i'm not going to believe you.

(didn't want to create another topic about this, so I'm posting it here)

 

I currently have a R9 280x, I7 4770 and 8 gigs of ddr3. Should I upgrade to the 480 or will I not see any performance increase at all? I think I should buy one, because it performs near the 970 and 290x and it has got more features than my 280x has atm. Will it be worth it?

lol same i did want one but its the same in performance to the 970 but i'm hinder down by its shitty 970s 3.5GB vram soo i'm not sure to get one as skyrim(heavily heavily modded) uses 3950vram -_-
