Just to mess with you guys... AMD RX490 is coming soon.

Q: 'Should I get the GTX 1070 or GTX 1080?'

After what I saw with the RX 480, I don't think it's worth the wait. Unless AMD doesn't do something, they will never beat nvidia.

After all we all got sucked into this "next gen GPU " campaign thingy.

If not for youtube I would not buy any sort of HIGH END PC PARTs.

Look at me now... Ah...

If it is not broken, let's fix till it is.

Yeah, just making fun of all the 'wait for the RX 480' answers (that I was admittedly part of).

Jesus, I really hope Vega delivers...

Wait, let me ask , does VEGA card gonna use the same architecture as Polaris???

Or it is the same architecture, just it is the HIGH END version of it?

They will.  They will simply take 2 490s and make them do this.

Same architecture, different GPU. R9 490/X will likely have either GDDR5 or GDDR5X, while the Fury successor will likely use HBM2.

All I'm saying is that if AMD continues this performance trend for Vega, they'll be in trouble.

You all do realize that the RX480 is meant as an entry/mid-tier level GPU and not for the high end enthusiast
