I don't think it's a good set-up. You only seem to have 120 gb SDD, which is VERY small... Those drives are usually set up for an operating system, and maybe 1-2 installed games. Considering your budget and what other parts you picked, I would try to go for at least a 500 gb HDD. You will lack some start-up speed, but you do at least get some storage space.

Not sure if its any good, someone please tell me, thank you in advance.

At this point you might aswell scrape together some used parts like a i5-750, 8GBs of DDR3 RAM, whatever mobo you get, whatever case you get, a storage device whether it be a used 500-1000GB HDD or a 240GB SSD, and a GPU like a Radeon HD7870GHz Edition or even R9 280/x's are going for cheap. And a PSU of course, such as a low end Antec BP550 Plus or EVGA B2.

I would get a cheaper $35-$40 ssd, and scrap the cooler as that one wouldn't be better then the stock one, possibly get a bigger hdd for storage.

EDIT: also do you need 16gb of ram? 8gb is still plenty and won't hold that system back.

For a cheap system, yea it's not bad. But I would definitely get the 256GB Samsung 850 Evo instead of the 128. With 128, after you install the OS, your main apps you are almost full. Don't make that mistake. The 256g is only $92. That's only $24 more. And trust me, you'll thank me later

Yeah, hopefully are you willing to do used parts?

You can go on https://www.reddit.com/r/hardwareswap/

Make a "Buying" Thread and name of parts. Put like "Buying variety of parts for PC" in title. Say your max budget for them is $400 altogether and name parts.

Say i5-750 or similar performing CPU

Compatible Mobo

8GBs of DDR3 RAM ( Some people will probably try and do a mobo/ram/cpu combo )

A case

A reliable PSU ( you can message me if you want to know if it is good, usually any SeaSonic or XFX is good lower end Antecs are decent depending on the S/N.

And storage, just say like 240GB SSD or 500GBHDD minimum.

Oh, and unless you are just set on buying new, you might want to consider looking at the LTT classifieds or your local Craigslist for a used system. You should be able to get a pc that's faster than that for about the same price.

Oh, and here's a cheap Sandisk 240GB ssd for only $70:  https://amzn.com/B00M8ABHVQ

I normally stick with Samsung, but I have purchased Sandisk before and it ran great. The software it comes with is actually pretty good too.

And that Sandisk should be able to get near 500MB/s,

So that's literally double the space for $2 more

And here's the link for that 850 EVP 256GB for $92. ($24 more than the 128gb) https://amzn.com/B00OAJ412U

Not sure if its any good, someone please tell me, thank you in advance.

Here bro, I went over your build and got you a few upgrades. The total is ONLY $10 more

http://pcpartpicker.com/list/RrTZ8K

Upgraded SSD to 240GB, and a better case that has USB 3.0 in the front as well as sound dampening material on the inside for super quiet operation.

Also got you a better cpu cooler. and it was cheaper + mail in rebate on top of that.

Also, you could change out the cpu for the other A10 6800k you added, but I would not do that if you have to lose the SSD. Trust me, the SSD will make you system feel and load faster than a new cpu would.

The total for my build is $346 and most parts are free shipping. If you want to spend $50, you can swap out the A8 7600 for the A10 6800k. The motherboard and cooler works with both CPU's. And no, you do not need an extra video card. Those processors are APU's, they have built in graphics.

But whatever you do, do not replace the ssd for a regular hdd. You probably haven't had a pc with a ssd yet, but once you do you will never ever go back.

OK, here we go, the final revision:

http://pcpartpicker.com/list/WP26XH

That's WITH the A10 6800k APU.

Your build had 16gb of ram. You don't need 16gb of ram.

Even a gaming pc is just fine with 8gb.

So I got you a single 8gb stick. so you can put in another 1 later if you ever want to upgrade to 16gb.

And with the money saved with the ram, I added the 6800k apu. which gets you a faster cpu and better graphics.

Total for everything: $364

You really can't beat that.

And if you ever wanted to turn this into a gaming pc, all you would have to do is buy a good video card, like the new RX480 that is coming out tomorrow for $199.

Hope this helps!

For gaming and recording a 750 ti will not be enough. There is a GTX 960 in there, not a GTX 950. GTX 950 prices are now like 110$, and 750 Ti is probably like 80$.
