Need help building a PC around the GTX 1080

Lord Clark

Okay so I bought a pre built pc a few years ago and it's been serving me pretty well, but I need more. I want to build a gaming PC around the GTX 1080, I want to over clock my CPU and GPU, I know gaming doesn't utilize more than a few cores but I would like to do streaming. I feel comfortable building my own pc now. At the time of purchasing my pre built I didn't feel confident enough to choosing parts that would be compatible. I've since done my research and understand more, but I still find myself feeling incompetent in choosing parts.

I was wondering if some of you guys could help me choose the parts that will work the best for what I'm looking for. My price range is anywhere between $800 to $1300. And also if you have any suggestions on graphics card in SLI that can out perform the 1080, I'm open to that.

The price of the 1080 would take about 3/4 of your budget lol
