Just get 2x8GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 2133MHz, take higher frequency if you plan to overclock otherwise you'll be throwing your money away

RAM = RAM most of the time, but you have some different stuff like CL and all that junk.

Generally what you do is you choose the RAM type you need (DDR3, DDR3L or DDR4 now) and just kinda see what the cheapest options from the best brands are. Than you kinda check what is the best bang for buck in terms of frequency, than the other specs and if you are left with more than one set, you choose the one that fits best with your color scheme (or from the brand you like better)

I would pay attention to it, if you can get a higher clock out of the box for next to nothing more than a lower clock, it can be worth it

Honestly the brand of RAM doesn't really matter, sure some RAM looks cooler than other but you can't really mess up RAM so any brand should do fine. That being said my preference always leans towards Corsair because they make good quality parts, your decision really though.

what would you go with?

corsair or hyperx?

Either one is good, but I would go for Corsair because I personally had good experience with them in the post.
