I'd get a better cpu if you were going to pair it up with a 780, build seems unbalanced imo, and whats your budget?

Hey there. You are looking mighty fine today, have my virtual cookie!

wow this community is AWESOME

Indeed :D Hope you have a nice time with us :)

But to the matter: I would advice you to say something more about what this system is to be used for so that we can help you a bit more :)

Things we need to know is for example if you are going to use it as a Gaming system or a editing rig or something else :)

Hello

  • Where and when are you shopping, prices differ abit depending on country.
  • How much off a audiophile are you?
  • Where will you place this computer? On a desk, under the desk? This is for me always a thing off importance. If you don't see the case, no need to go all flashy. No need for a window, can get much quiter fans and performance, because you don't care how the inside looks.
  • If you do care about the looks because you will place it on your desk, any color scheme you prefer?
  • What monitor are you using?

NZXT Phantom windowed, Asus Z77 Sabertooth, Intel 2600K, Noctua NH-D14, EVGA 780 Classified, Crucial Ballistic Tactical, Crucial M4 128GB + Samsung 850 EVO, Corsair RM850, Creative X-Fi Fatal1ty Peripherals: Sennheiser HD598, FinalMouse Classic, SteelSeries Qck Heavy, Ducky Shine Zero (MX Brown), AOC G2460PF & Qnix QX2710

Build Log: Phantom - Antique Noctua

If you're not in a hurry, wait for the new AMD cards.
