AIO Is it safe?

As the title goes is it safe to get an aio instead of air cooler? It's my first time using it that's why i have no idea about the maintenance leaking etc and lastly can you recommend what kind finds should i get on my phanteks evolv atx plus on the aio? for the aio i'm looking forward on nzxt kraken x61 thanks guys! :)

i have an AIO in my system. its the first time im doing watercooling to and i didnt have any issues. though i am a bit skeptical about them.

what aio are you using? yeah it seems the leaking issue are just isolate case

if you get a good quality one from corsair or NZXT there is pretty near 0 chance of them leaking

maintenace is just dust the radiator once in a while

Corsair H70 Core. i had this new and unopened for a long time, i guess i forgot about it and when i was building my dual CPU computer. i needed another cpu cooler so i dug in my spare parts box and found it. it sat in there for a good 4 to 5 years. currently it sits in my system next to my hyper 212 evo which is cooling my second processor

ahh i see well i guess i will get one what fan can you recommend to replace the default of the phanteks case and aio? i'm looking for black/blue theme fans (blue led)

AIO's are completely safe. I've seem maybe one or two incidents of them actually leaking and I don't mean water spraying everywhere, just fittings getting wet. I have an EVGA 980ti hybrid and I am 100% chilled about it.

i got a h110i gt, i was a bit skeptical but the tubing feels really strong and solid, no problems yet :P

Love my H110i GT

 

Also, mine is registered with Corsair, so if it EVER does leak and ruin my pc, Corsair will replace everything for free. :)

Bang for buck would be CoolerMaster sickle flows blue led. High ends would be noctua and mid would be corsair SF

Corsair covers any damages if their product leaks so no worries.

Just get Corsair and possibly NZXT, no-one else as Corsair definately covers damage caused by leaking and I think NZXT does :P (p.s. h100i and h75 for 2 years now, both still going strong :D

AIO's are less safe than air in the same way that having a swimming pool in your backyard increases your chances of drowning in a swimming pool in your own backyard.
