Creating rechargeable battery for DIY RC car...

I'm in the process of making an RC car, using parts from an obsolete one, like PCB, motors, transmitters, remote, etc. But for the battery, I intend to fix a rechargeable battery that uses a USB connection. How will I accomplish this, and more importantly, what type of battery should I get?

What scale is this? You might want to consider a single cell lipo, those can be charged pretty easily over usb.
