1000ish dollar Gaming laptop Australia

Hey, Just wonderring if anyone knows of any good gaming laptop deals in Australia at the moment?

Doesn't specifically need to be a 'gaming' model but would prefer an i7-xxxxHQ cpu, with a GTX850m or better, with a 1080p screen.

Goal price is $1000 australian, but can stretch a bit.

This is the best thing I've found so far:

System:

  • Sharkoon T9 case
  • i7 - 2600k @ Stock
  • Coolermaster 212 evo
  • Gigabyte GA-Z68-UD3H-B3 Motherboard
  • Corsair Vengeance 4x4GB
  • Nvidia GTX 780 EVGA Classified edition
  • Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD
  • Samsung 840120GB SSD

$1000 wont get you far, looks like you have scored pretty well with that link. Check out PC Case Gear and Mwave, maybe even JW. Your looking more in the price range of 1500 for something decent.

[CUSTOM WATER COOLED TABLE] Project: Ravage ---> Here

That is as cheap as it will get. But don't get anything from MSY. They have been fined for not accepting warranties and from what I have heard they are still haven't changed. https://www.accc.gov.au/media-release/msy-technology-penalised-203500-for-false-and-misleading-consumer-warranty

Not surprised with how dodgy the online store is and how disorganised the store is near my place.

That Acer is TERRIBLE - it has so many issues I lost count

Overheating
Bad Customer Support
Broken Hinges are a year or two of use
Flimsy build quality and materials
Crappy keyboard
Horrible maintenance access.

Avoid it at all costs
