upcoming 460 & 470

so im thinking instead of buying a 950 why not wait for the 470 or 460. any thoughts??

If you're okay with waiting, then they will probably be a better choice. However if you are on a budget, the price of a 950 will most likely take a dive when they are released.

950 isnt bad at all

and it will still be several months before those 400 cards actually get released and get in stock

No, they're releasing on June 29. Yea, get a 470. It will easily be twice as fast as a 950 for the same price.

Keep an eye out for sales on the 960 & 960 as their prices are dropping.  But waiting to see what happens in 2 weeks is probably best.

NDA is lifting* Sales for 480 will probably start 1-4 weeks after that.

Nope they are gonna sell them at the end of the month. If they are out of stock due to high demand then that's another story. AMD paper launched for exactly that reason,  the card is so hyped up and cheap they waited month to stock up on cards before releasing it. The leaks confirm it that retailers are gonna get the cards about week before the end of the month

No, they start selling on 29th. A lot of stock arriving next week at my local shops.
