Yes. I haven't used that bios, but look in advance settings and find he setting that allows it to boot without a CPU fan. If you look back at linuses 7 gamers 1 CPU video, he experienced the same problem on an Asus motherboard so you might be able to catch where the setting is located in bios.

Alright.  I turned off monitoring and it's booting into Windows now.  Is there anything I should look out for with this kind of setup?

Thanks guys

Basically I've put my watercooling radiator fans onto the motherboards System fan connections so that I can turn them off when they are no needed...

Problem is that it won't boot into the operating system now as it thinks that no CPU fan is installed. Is there a way of bypassing this?

I'm pretty positive that the pump is on too, so it's all safe.

BIOS ver 2601

Thanks for the help!

there should be a setting in your UEFI to change "minimum rpm" to "ignore" so that it doesnt give you any warnings when the fan is at 0rpm

Mhh there might be a option, if not then you can set the fan speed to something like 5%, since thats not audible its just fine.

That should fix it. UEFI is what you are using already ;)

Download coretemp to check your cpu temps. If it is fine then all is working and it is a false warning. I get it sometimes but i have a window and i can see the fan spinning.

If you can't turn it off in the BIOS/UEFI, maybe you could plug some other case fan into the CPU header.

You could add an extra case fan and use one of those resistive voltage droppers to make it turn very slowly and quietly, if noise is the concern.

A sieve may not hold water, but it will hold another sieve.
