What are the downsides of OnePlus 3???

Go to solution Solved by wwsalmon,

PROS:

Fast as hell, using the snapdragon 820 and 6 freaking GB of RAM (that's double S7 and six times iPhone 6)

Good battery life b/c 1080P screen

User friendly near-stock Oxygen OS

Metal build

Super-fast fingerprint scanner

Notification slider

Cheap!!!

CONS:

Camera is "as good as last generation's best," so think Galaxy S6 or iPhone 6 level, not quite S7 or 6S.

Screen is only 1080P (good for everyday use, but not for VR).

No SD card expansion.

That's about it, a lot of the issues with previous 1+ phones have been ironed out, such as lack of NFC, invite system, and unstable OxygenOS.

Hope this helps!

what are the downsides compared to Samsung's S7 or Iphone 6?

Not sure if it's a great phone overall, or if i'll get tired of it, and regret that I didn't go for the best phone on the market, and be happy for a long while.

It's important for me that the phone is snappy fast, no lag, plenty of storage, great camera, I want to capture the moments with friends.

New smart functions, newest android version.

Replacable parts, hopefully?

Aaaand userfriendly.

So anyone owned oneplus ? - Spare parts?

I have had the OnePlus One and two and have lived them both. They are both snappy and have good camera. You can get spare parts however they tend to be more expensive.

No micro sd card (compared to the s7). That's it.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

Good idea to wait a bit and see?

Don't forget worse warranty. On a Samsung you can just go into a store, and get your support.

If your Oneplus device has something, you'll have to ship it back to China.
