970 chipset won't cut it for the FX-9590 which needs a good amount of power. Only the 990FX chipset can handle it properly. In fact, scrap the FX altogether and get a Xeon 1231 v3.

Don't get a 9590, get a 6600/6700k

you can get a lower power psu(about 500w is fine)

Id get a r9 480 when it comes out if your only gaming at 1080, as a 1070 is way overkill, or buy a 1440p/4k monitor.

What are you doing on this pc?

Buying an FX CPU in this day and age is a terrible waste of money. The 970 chipset also won't be able to handle the power requirements of the 9590. Get yourself an i5 6660k and a Z170 motherboard along with DDR4 RAM and other actually modern features! :D

I'll get a $1700 PC cooked up in PCPP. Be right back.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Since you don't need storage and it's a total waste to buy a 1070 with a 1080p monitor I threw in a 1440p monitor and got you a 240GB SSD

Ok there are some changes that need to be made. I'll edit your parts list as well as give an explanation for all the major changes.

  • Change the CPU to a 6600k. It will be fine for gaming. More than fine. If you plan to do some more heavy duty stuff or want somthimg to match or exceed the preformance of the 9590 get a 6700k. Obviously this will mean switching to Z170 and DDR4. The 9590 is just a bad pick for almost anything. It's basically a 5.0 out f the box 8350. It is exceptionally hot and power hungry. You are much better off with an Intel chip.
  • I really don't like closed loop liquid coolers. Either go for a custom loop, a high end air cooler or a proper open enthusiast grade AIO. I've put in an air cooler but if you really want to go liquid then look at the EK predator
  • 120gb ain't gonna, get you anywhere. That SSD is good and I'd keep it but I reckon getting a 1tb drive would be a good idea for mass storage.
  • The 1070 is a great card but wayyyy overkill for 1080p. Get a 1440p or 4K monitor or step down to a RX480
  • Switched PSU to a G2 unit
  • That monitor is WAY too small. Get at least a 24" if you go for a 480 at 1080p or a 27" 1440p if you stick with the 1070
