Xeon X5670 Is not hyperthreading

This is my first post here, so if i do something wrong, let me know!

I have an Dell Precision T3500 motherboard with an Xeon X5670 in it. 

i have hyperthreading enabeled in my bios, but when i boot to windows it only shows 6 of the 12 threads, do you have any idea's how this is possible?

i rebooted 1 more time and it showed up as 12 threads in Ubuntu, i booted back into windows and it was fixed
