Just depends on whats better in the price you are at. If you want the best out right now then Nvidia is the way to go with a 1080 but if you want something more on the price to performance side then you should probably go with AMD as their options tend to perform better in lower price ranges. It really just depends on how much you want to spend on your GPU.

First you have to pick your budget then see what cards are available from each vendor at that price to get a good idea. Honestly best to be brand blind when going into a choice like this and just look at the individual products on sale.

Hey, i planning to buy a new pc.

i can't decide which brand of gpu i'll take, a lot told me that Nvidia cards the best, other told me that AMD's cards have cooling issues and they warming fast and etc.

AMD cooling issue is way back at the R9 2xx series, with their 290 and 290x run like hot coal. Newer AMD's card is not that hot anymore.

The main different between NVIDA and AMD right now is their software support, with Nvidia running miles ahead with their Geforce Experience which including Shadow Play, G-Sync and other things. AMD however have FreeSync which work about the same as G-Sync but dont require special made monitor to work on. They dont have anything to match with Shadow Play though

When it come to pure performance, Nvidia card is generally better than AMD in the sense that their flagship product destroy anything AMD currently have. BUT AMD come out on top when it come to price vs performance. So if you have a good budget, go with Nvidia's stuff, else go with AMD.

To choose which one to pick, you first need to see for yourself how much do you plan to set out for your GPU. Depend on the budget you should choose the best GPU available for that budget, whichever brand they are coming from.

Nvidia has the most powerful GPU on the market right now, but AMD is about the have the best budget solution, with the release of their RX 480 GPU.

A GTX 1080 right now costs $650+, and the GTX 1070 $400+. The RX 480 is speculated to run faster than a GTX 980, and cost only $200 for the 4GB version, and somewhere around $230 or so for the 8GB version. But we're all waiting for official post-release benchmarks for the RX 480, which releases on June 29th.

Regarding drivers, I wouldn't worry about either. You're as likely, or not likely to have problems with either AMD or Nvidia. Regarding tech... they have pros and cons. Nvidia has their Gameworks stuff, but AMD has some more advanced tech that can enable it to perform better in DX12 / Vulkan-optimized games.

If you're looking at Nvidia, you could be looking at the GTX 1080, 1070, or a used 980 ti. If you're looking at AMD, you're almost surely going to want the RX 480. So, you could look into those cards a bit to see which is optimal for you.

DX12 will be a major thing soon. If you want a card that per frond better now, and even better in the future AMD is generally the best bet with more VRAM and DX12 support as well as driver improvements over the years. For example my 280x had an extra GB of VRAM than the 770 that I bought (which died, so I bought a 280x) and performs a little better although it's a lower tier card.

Heating issue is not currently available for AMD cards as in reference R9 290 and 290x. Nvidia has better software support. They usually release drivers along with major releases. With current market situation (assuming you are using GPU mainly for gaming),

-If you are spending more than $300, go with Nvidia. They currently offers the best choices, GTX 1080 and GTX 1070.

-$200, AMD Rx 480 after hitting the market (Supposed to have performance of R9 390X)

-$100 or $150, AMD R9 370 or other lower priced AMD card if you are buying i5 processor. Nvidia GTX 950 if you are buying i3 or  other budget CPUs.
