Question on EVGA GTX 1070 Aftermarket

Hey everyone, I'm currently looking to purchase the EVGA GTX 1070 Aftermarket card, but I a question about the one I am looking for.  For reference the site I am looking at is http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487249&cm_re=gtx_1070_evga-_-14-487-249-_-Product.  I am trying to figure out if it has a backplate or not, and if it doesn't then i'll go with the SC version.  Also, is it worth the 20 bucks just to buy the overclocked SC version in the first place?  Thanks for the answers in advance.
