Kraken G10 on a GTX 1070

Getting a GTX 1070 soon (Probably founders edition) and I4m wondering if my Kraken G10 will fit on the thing. Anyone know?

Seeing how a hybrid 980 cooler fits on a 1080 (well partially)

Why Founder's edition? I would get the MSI Aero, it is the exact same PCB but with an MSI blower cooler, but the cooler is not important since you are watercooling the card.

Was the cheapest one I could find in the shops here. And yea, cooler doesn't really matter since I'm taking it right off anyway :D

It will fit, but take care of VRM cooling.

Kraken G10 + X31 were pain in the ass for me. Couldn't get it working on my R9 390 nitro ... card was crashing all the time, even if I had heatsinks on all VRMs.

 

I don't recommend that, but yeah it will fit.

I have an x61 on my 780ti and never had any issues with it

The G10 has a little fan on it that cools the VRM. I also have cooling pads on the VRM (Still there from previous water cooling) for some extra cooling
