Hmmm, yes, I forgot what the image was myself, its a rather old puzzle. Thank you for not spoiling it entirely though, will fix.

Well its way better than my garbled mess. I tried to do it with the AC on full blast so it looked like a collage.

SSTV, a fun way of encoding messages into a WAV format. This method caught my attention when it was originally used after an update in Portal, in which some radios would emit an SSTV signal that could be decoded into image teasers of the second Portal game.

to those that dont know what the truck is going on:

SSTV is a protocol/concept used to broadcast images over a very low bitrate connection, popularized by amateur broadcasters mostly because how resilient it is to interference. oh, and offcourse the ever-famous portal 2 easter egg.

 

to draw a picture (lel?) about how resillient it is i re-scanned the image, but at 10% volume, with john cena's theme blasting overtop of it, this being the result:

while its an absolute shitshow, the actual image is *still* there.
