Corsair vengence ddr4 16gb 3200 or patriot viper ddr4 32gb 2800

i got both sets for my pc :

first one is -- corsair vengence ddr4 16 gb 3200

second set is--- patriot viper ddr4 32gb 2800

my mobo is an MSI z170a gaming m7

my main use is gaming.

so which one should i go for and install for this mobo.??

The 32gb kit of course, ram speed doesnt make much of a difference

i dont see much of a question there bud, 32 gigs of course if they are the same price.

Your PC won't use all the 32GB. I highly doubt that it will even use 16GB! Go for the 16GB.

this is likely the biggest ram recommendation i've ever heard about
so if some game has reached that now maybe it's a better idea to go for the 32GB that's if the money is good with you

i have both the corsair and the patriot viper . but the corsair are 16gb 3200 and the patriot are 32gb 2800.

Thats the same as saying that dont use a 5960x use a pentium because ur graphics card cant use the 5960Xs full potential

The OP said he has both sets already and just wants help in picking which to use. 

 

Size really isn't going to make much, if any, difference in real world gaming these days. I would go for which ever is more aesthetically pleasing in your build.

16 GB Is better, I doubt you will use even those 16, 32 gbs is a waste.

Better get 16 GB cus its better quality and faster memory.

no its 2 x 8 for the corsair and 4 x 8 for the patriot.

2800MHz is plenty in speed if it is cheaper, but 3200MHz is better! (yet you only need 16GB unless you render and such)
