Can't see the TDP of the heatsink on the spec sheet

Im planning on buying the hyper 212 evo,but I can't see what's the TDP of it even on the spec list on newegg,p c part picker and rest,whats the TDP of that thing anyway

Btw,is that air cooler good enough for an Intel core i5 6600k to be over clocked

since that CPU has a TDP of 91W and 212 Evo has 180W .. OCing it should work - but don't expect great thermals

My friend OC'ed  6600K to 4.5 Ghz with a 212 EVO, temps were perfectly fine

They're very similar. The 212x just has an updated fan.

That 91 watts is when run stock.  Overclocking will rapidly increase that number, possibly even double it.

 

Yes, you can overclock with the 212 EVO, but temperatures will run higher than they would with a more robust cooling system.
