Alright, I have a cx 430 (non modular) power supply and the cables look absolutely hideous, what do i do to make them red or white or something other than the ugly ass color it comes with

you can design custom extensions that would work with your PSU here: https://store.cablemod.com/configurator/

Cable mod stores, or ebay. You can buy large coloured braided sleeve (cover the whole wire, not each individual) for around $5usd a meter, coloured shrink wrap is cheap as well. A few hours one after noon and you could re sleeve the whole unit what ever colour you like, If your a little more adventurous you can also buy male/female molex plugs and pins, cut the cables at the psu and crimp on female plugs then males on all the psu leads and make a modular psu...Done this before years and years ago like many others, I think these days a modular psu cost less than all that stuffing around, but in those days they were either ridiculously expensive or didn't exist.

Silent build - You know your pc is too loud when the deaf complain. Windows 98 gaming build, smells like beige

i'd rather just spend the 30$ and get a pre sleeved extension cable, that's way to much work
