Dual SLI GTX 1080 vs GTX TITAN X

Like the title says. Would a sli 1080 be great for video encoding and gaming? Thanks guys!!

A single 1080 is better than a Titan X, so you shouldn't even consider a Titan X.

Well... a 1080 SLI would be great, yes, but only if you have a 1440 144hz or a 4k monitor to make use of it. If you don't, then buying a new display would be better than buying the 2nd card.

I have a titan x right now but seeing if i buy 1 or 2 1080's for the future when i upgrade my monitors.

But if you buy a new display you'll still need a second card. xD
